What to Expect
8:30 SonRise Celebration – Come join us as we greet the day with a blended-style of praise & worship service led by a praise team of vocalists and instrumentalists. We celebrate using a fresh mixture of classic hymns and choruses, upbeat Southern Gospel, and high-energy arrangements of some of today’s most popular worship music. We encourage everyone to participate, and we offer something for everyone’s musical tastes.
The important thing is that we worship together and connect our hearts with God so that He may speak to us through the Gospel.
Dynamic worship combines with a dynamic message of Gospel truth for an explosive celebration of God’s grace and love as we seek His direction in our lives. We invite you to come. You will leave completely changed.
9:45Crossfire – Live band, lights, and a high-energy worship style combine for a fully contemporary, multi-sensory, and multimedia experience that will leave your heart pounding and your soul thirsting for more of the powerful presence of God in our Crossfire worship.
Our tagline is “Ancient Truth For A New Generation,” and that is exactly what you will find here. The message is the same that Jesus brought centuries ago, but we present it in language and methods that are relevant for today’s worshipers. We devote ample time to offering God our worship through music and media that speak from the heart of today’s generation.
You may sit, you may stand, lift your hands, or close your eyes – there are a variety of ways in which to participate. How you respond to God in worship is up to you. We simply encourage you to go after God with all your heart, giving Him your very best, and then marvel at how He transforms you.
11:00 Traditional Worship – Tradition is a strong component of Christian worship and does much to inform our understanding of who God is. This is why we continue to celebrate worship in a traditional manner. God speaks to us through meaningful liturgies and rituals, and we connect to God through our corporate times of prayer.
Led in worship by liturgists, our chancel choir, and talented musicians on the piano and organ, we encounter God’s presence in His Holy space, the Sanctuary.
Come and join us, and be transformed.
8:30 & 11:00 Children’s Worship – We offer an age-appropriate time of worship for your children so that they may offer their praise to God in a way that is relevant to them. Exciting music and activities help to teach them the importance of worship and about the nature of God. This time is led by capable and loving adults with a heart for children. Screening requirements for workers and volunteers ensure the safety of your children while they are in our care and while you worship.
Child Care – Our nursery is available for children two years of age and younger, located on the first floor of the Family Ministries’ Building. Our greeters will be happy to direct you where you need to go. Child care is available for all of our services, provided by capable and loving caregivers. Screening requirements for workers and volunteers ensure the safety of your children while they are in our care and while you worship.
6:00 Body Building - For those who seek to go even deeper in their Christian walk, we offer “Body Building.” Our purpose for this event is “Connecting, Growing, Equipping the body of Christ.” We begin at 6 p.m. with a dynamic, intergenerational, and family-friendly time of singing, praise and prayer before we dismiss to a variety of classes for all age groups aimed to either connect persons to Jesus, grow persons in their Christian faith, or equip persons to serve in Jesus’ Kingdom. There are also classes and activities for youth and children. For those who are not in a class or who are between classes, Pastor Rudy stays in the sanctuary for a Q&A-type of discussion called Chasing Rabbits: Start with a question; follow where it leads. Truly we have something for everyone as we seek to grow our spiritual muscles through Body Building.
