    FX will be a night of worship, skits, games, scripture and FAMILY!!

    Wednesday Nights at 6:30pm in the Chapel (execpt for FX night). This will be a time for our SENIOR Adults to connect with our SENIOR Pastor.

    GMV has teamed up with True Vine Evangelical Church to provide Backpack Buddies for Tarrant Intermediate School. We are collecting non-perishable items for the Backpack Buddies or you can make a financial donation and we will do the shopping for you. Food items may be placed in the marked bins throughout the church.

    Important Notes: All items must be non-perishable and individually packages. Any cans must be pop-top or peel off. We cannot accept any packaging which requires a can opener.  All juice drinks must be 110% juice.  Low sugar and no sodium preferred.  NO ITEMS WITH PEANUTS OR PEANUT BUTTER.

    October Sunday Morning Sermon Series: "Living Stones". 1 Peter 2:5 says “you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood…” During this October sermon series Jake Barret, our Associate Pastor, and I will be preaching from the Acts of Apostles. Even though our sermons may be somewhat different, we will carry the same theme: “What Does it Mean to Live in Christian Community?” How are we to be built into a spiritual house like living stones?     September Sunday Evening Bible Study: “From Jesus to the Methodists” by Rev. Steve Baccus. On each Sunday evening in September, our Senior Pastor will be teaching a 4-week study entitled “From Jesus to the Methodists.” This study will trace the history of our church from Jesus to the current day, and it will give an overview of how and why we are structured as we are, and how we organize for ministry and mission. This will be offered in the Small Dining Room at 6:00 PM.


    Sunday, October 29  3pm-5pm Ford Avenue in Tarrant. GMV and the City of Tarrant will come together for a Community Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat. Please pray, sponsor a trunk/game or donate candy! Contact Amy SIzemore for more information.


    Shoesboxes will be available from October 29-November 17. Boxes can be picked up from any welcome area. Shoeboxes will be prayed over in all morning worship services on Sunday, November 19. If you need help filling your shoebox or need more information click here for more information.
