See the many ways you can join IN ON THE FUN AT GMV!

What is Confirmation?  Confirmation will be a time for students to ask and discuss questions about their Faith and also be taught about what God says about faith and a relationship with Him through His son Jesus. We will spend some of our time with Pastor Steve and some of our time in smaller groups for discussions. This will be an exciting time of learning and will end with an opportunity for the students to decide if they would like to profess their faith through Baptism or Remembering their baptism (if they were baptized as an infant).

Who can attend Confirmation?  Any student, 5th grade and up, is invited to attend. In the past, we have had students in the 4th grade attend if their parent/guardian feels they are ready for the classes.

How can you prepare your student?   Start the conversations at home.  What questions do they have? What would they like to know more about? Have them write down their questions and bring them with them.

We are planning to begin classes on Sunday, March 1st at 5:00pm.   If your student is has not participated in Confirmation and would like to this year, please make plans to attend on February 23.   We are looking forward to this exciting time with your students!  If you have any questions, please feel to email Amy Sizemore, Children’s Director.
