SUNDAY SCHOOL
OPPORTUNITIES
Three Sunday School Periods are offered for Youth and Adults
Adults:
(8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.)
Faith Journey - Room 318
A class
that looks at the issues of today and how faith in Jesus Christ helps us get
through them. This class is designed
less for age groups and life
situations and more for those who desire to attend Sunday School at this early
time.
Rick Fitzpatrick is the leader of
this group.
Good News - Room 350
This class consists of couples and
singles in their 40's, 50's, and 60's. The class has a strong belief in prayer and is active in
support of missions. Different
studies and lively discussion,
sometimes the Holy Spirit leads the class in a different
direction.
New Song - Room 304
A class
that covers the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. No specific ages
or life situations. This class has a mix of ages, singles and couples.
Journey - Room 319
A group discussion format. Rick White
and Jim Frazier leads this study with
members ranging from empty nesters to parents
with high school age children. If you are looking for a place
to connect with others and grow in your daily Christian
walk, check this class out.
Pairs and Spares - Room 209
This new class
is aimed at the young adults just beginning their careers after graduation from
school. Singles and couples alike are welcome.
Paul Wiegert leads this "open sharing
with Bible based lessons" format.
His Servants - Room 317
This class
is for adults of all ages and includes couples and singles. It was
started to study the 40 Days of Community, but due to
the response it has continued.
It features a rotation of teachers and encourages open and lively discussion.
Topics of classes vary
and no specific literature is used.
A loving class that believes you can have fun if you are Christian.
Sisters - Room 306
A new all women's Sunday School
Class. Features interactive discussion format for women
of all ages. This offers a great
opportunity to join a new class for
those not already involved in a class. Sorry guys, this class is for
ladies only!
(9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.)
Ambassador -
Rooms 310 and 312
A class of couples and singles
from ages 55 to 85 years of age, interested in local missions.
Rotating teachers use a lecture format
with some discussion.
Chapel Class -
Room 206 (Small Chapel)
A group of senior adults who enjoy
singing from the Methodist Hymnal and discussing inspirational lessons.
Rotating teachers use
the International Lesson Series.
Fellowship -
Room 318
Singles and couples in their 50's and
60's. Rotating teachers use the International Lesson Series.
Joy -
Room 317
This class deals with
topical issues that effect us in our everyday lives. Wide range of ages and include singles and couples.
Through lecture and discussion, they
use a variety of literature to apply Biblical scripture to life. Visit

New Beginnings -
Room 309
This is an exiting class for
those in their 20's and 30's. Lessons vary from topical Bible issues
to social issues of the day.
Their motto is finding New Life
everyday through Jesus Christ.
Now -
Room 209
This class consists of couples and
singles in their 50's and 60's. Frank Malone is the leader and they use
the International Lesson
Series in a lecture format with some
discussion.
Open Door -
Room 320
This is a class of caring couples
and several singles over the age of 50, who are approaching retirement age
or are already retired. They
use the International Lesson series, with rotating teachers.
Rainbow -
Room 319
This is a caring, loving class of
couples and singles, ages 40's to 50's. Rotating teachers lead
a discussion based on the International Lesson
series.
Seekers - Room 304
This class is has members in
their 30's and 40's, single and married, both with and without children;
all who are truly seeking God's will
in their lives. They use the Willow Creek "Interactions"
series to inspire discussion.
SOS (Success of Singles) - Room 212
This class is designed for
singles of all ages. Discussion format, rotating teachers.
Sunshine -
Room 306
A new all women's Sunday
School Class lead by Sue Mulroy. Features interactive discussion format
for women of all ages. This offers a great
opportunity to join a new class for
those not already involved in a class.
