The Children’s Ministry of Gardendale-Mt. Vernon UMC
Purpose
The purpose of the Children’s Ministry Team at Gardendale-Mt. Vernon UMC is to let children know they are loved; teach them Biblical truths and the gift of salvation; and to guide them and equip them in their faith walk.
We do this through loving, caring teachers; a scope and sequence in Sunday school that provides a thorough knowledge of the Bible and life in Christ; offering other events that strengthen their faith walk; and by providing situations where new people can come to our church.
