SMALL GROUPS

Spiritual growth occurs best when nurtured in an intimate atmosphere among a small number of friends and loved ones journeying together in faith.  We even see this example in scripture.  Jesus had just twelve disciples.  While he preached to thousands at a time, his most significant teaching occurred when he was alone with his disciples; that is also where the disciples experienced the most growth.  The disciples were alone with Jesus when God gave Peter the revelation of who Jesus is: "You are the Christ," he exclaimed.

For this reason, we encourage everyone to plug into a small group somewhere, for prayer support, accountability, and for mutual learning and growth.  We believe that it is in these intimate encounters, where we can be honest and vulnerable with one another, that we discover a new understanding of who Jesus is and what he desires in our lives.  We also draw strength from one another to continue to be faithful as we journey through life together, following in the footsteps of Jesus.
