How can I help my kids grow spiritually?

Spend time reading your Bible
They will learn what is important from watching what you are doing? Are you taking care of your relationship with God first?

Talk about what they learned at church
Ask questions about what they heard or thought about the topics. Sometimes you won't get much, but it could open the door to a great conversation. Share what you are learning with them.

Equip them to have a meaningful daily time with God
There are many great youth devotional guides out there...YouthWalk, DevoZine...and books you can buy as well. Are you investing in their growth by buying what they need. Help them to learn how to read and understand the Bible now.

Get them to Church
You can get them involved in youth events and church events. They need to develop habits that can carry them through. But be sure not to set up a double standard...if you expect them to be there, then you should find something for you, too. It is bad communication to tell a child it is important for them to be in church, but not important for their parents.

Serve together
Look for ways that you can serve as a family. Look for opportunities to share in holiday giving together. Show them how to give with your example.
